What makes studying at the Hochschule Hannover - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HsH) so special? Five young women and men talk about what you can study, learn, discover and experience at the HsH. All five are Bachelor or Master students at our five faculties. They have already gathered a variety of experiences: Completed internships, underwent semesters abroad, mastered projects, exams and theses. And of course they have also enjoyed leisure activities on campus and in the city of Hannover.

Application-oriented research

The research and development activities of the Hochschule Hannover - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HsH) are characterised by proximity to application and the diversity that also characterises the educational spectrum of the HsH's five faculties. Current research priorities at the HsH are oriented towards the needs of society and industry. Cooperations and joint development projects with external partners are an essential component here. They enable direct access to innovative issues and the direct transfer of research and development results into practice.

Research and development at the Hochschule Hannover - University of Applied Sciences and Arts is practice-oriented, qualifies students for a profession and is geared to concrete professional fields and problems from practice. Our focus areas, clusters and institutes are oriented towards what the economy and society need.
