Information on the Ukraine War

Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts condemns Russia's attack on Ukraine in the strongest possible terms and shows solidarity with all Ukrainians. This applies in particular to all Ukrainian students and academics.

This is Putin's war and not a war of "the Russians". Therefore, the university also shows solidarity with all Russian students and academics who condemn the attack on Ukraine and are suffering the consequences.

The university informs students and employees by e-mail as the situation arises. In addition, further information and support options are listed below on this website.

Working group on Ukraine

Recently, we have received many requests and also many ideas on how we as a university can support Ukrainian refugees. We are very happy about the commitment of many employees and professors.

We have also received numerous inquiries from refugee students who would like to start or continue their studies with us.

We would now like to invite all interested parties to think together with us and in a separate working group about which initiatives would be possible and helpful at the HsH and how we can bundle these initiatives in the short term, but also in the long term, in order to be able to offer refugees perspectives at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

The first meeting will be held on April 11th at 4 pm. You can attend via this link  https://meet.gwdg.de/b/nat-4p8-btw-zn6.

Registration is not necessary. If you are unable to make the appointment but would like to attend future meetings, please feel free to write to us.
