To apply as a visiting student at the Hochschule Hannover , a special application form is available on the web, which you need to complete and send to Sylvia Ende .
Submitting your application form is necessary for your Hochschul Hannover student ID to be issued in time. With your student ID you also obtain a semester ticket which entitles you to unlimited use of the regional public transportation system in and around Hannover for a one-time fee.
Visiting students in the area of design and media must first submit a portfolio and a statement of motivation before their application can be considered.

Matriculation (Enrollment)

Matriculation (enrollment) is possible for one semester at a time. Should you decide to stay for another semester, you must report back to the Hochschule Hannover Enrollment Office within the first week of your second semester.
Dates / Deadlines:
Enrolment must be done by the end of the first week after classes start. If necessary, this deadline can be extended for visiting students.
Necessary documents:
- Application for limited enrollment in a particular course of study
(to be completed by the Hochschul Hannover International Office) - Evidence from your financial institution showing that the semester fees have been transferred to the Hochschule Hannover
- EHIC - European Health Insurance Card (see also Insurance)

Any question about the enrolment procedure should be addressed to the International Office during the orientation weeks, which usually take place 3 weeks before classes start.
Semester Fees

For Visiting students (one or two semesters at Hochschule Hannover) and for students on a scholarship, the semester fees are partially waived.
The exact amount which remains to be paid should be asked from Sylvia Ende.
The semester fees do not include any tuition fees. Rather, they are contributions to support certain student services such as unlimited use of the regional transportation system, or dormitories and meal plans provided by the Studentenwerk, as well as an administrative fee for the Student Council.
The semester fees must be transferred to the account of the Hochschule Hannover before enrollment/admission is granted:
